Philip leads Electrina whose mission is to drive technology and business innovation in energy transmission and deploy continent-to-individual-scale energy systems that deliver dramatic improvements in energy use, security, cost and environmental impact.  Electrina envisions a world where everybody has access to electricity through energy internet.

Previously Philip spent 25 years with Intel Corporation.  During that time, Philip held roles including Vice President of Internet of Things, General Manager of Quark Division, Director of Low Power Solutions, and Factory Manager of multi-Billion $ Chip Manufacturing Factories in the US and Europe.

He has received numerous awards for his leadership roles in developing complex technologies, building huge scale manufacturing facilities, and delivering to worldwide markets. These include Irish Exporters Association “Innovation Award”, the Software Associations “Multinational Award”, the Institute of Engineers “Professional Development Award”, and Trinity College’s “Alumni Award”.

Philip has Engineering and Maths degrees from Trinity College Dublin, as well as Strategy and Executive education from Stanford.
