Kevin Buckley is the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) at Spearline, an award-winning technology company headquartered in Skibbereen and with offices in Waterford, Romania and India.

As the CEO, Kevin is responsible for the strategic leadership and development of Spearline, as well as the day-to-day operations of the business.

A strategic thinker with the vision to see the bigger picture, Kevin has led Spearline to significant growth since it was founded in 2003. Through Kevin’s leadership, Spearline has grown over 350% in the past four years.

The company achieved this remarkable growth by expanding its global infrastructure, introducing new product innovations and increasing its international customer base.

Spearline’s investment in audio quality measurement and customer experience excellence has positioned the company as industry leaders.  In 2019, for the sixth consecutive year, Spearline was recognised as one of Ireland’s fastest growing technology companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50.  Spearline was also awarded the CX Impact in Telecoms award by The Irish CX Impact Awards, and was named on CIO application Europe’s “Top 10 Contact Center Consulting/Services Companies 2019”.

Kevin holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Commercial Software Development from the Waterford Institute of Technology (W.I.T).

In 2015, Kevin became a founding Board Member of The Ludgate Hub, Europe’s first rural digital hub located in Skibbereen, Ireland’s first Gigabit town.
